Dash Speaker Replacement

Quick question if anyone is listening. I am about to install some Focal 4" coaxials like this. I noticed that when the original speaker basket mounts to the grill, a lip of the grill fits on the inside of the lip of the basket. So the picture here showing the new speaker tabs going all the way out to the lip would prevent the basket from fully seating back on the grill. Is this an issue? Did you run into this thstone when you put it all back together?

I had a entire Focal setup installed in my 03. There were some alterations done to fit the speakers in the dash. I cant remember what speaker set I have but its a matched set and was around a 1000.00 on Cruchfield. I do remember being told the speakers are now permanently part of the speaker enclosure.
