To answer your question I see 20 on the head and 25 on the sump.
My biggest problem was the original pressure relief 100PSI. It popped occasionally when the engine is cold UGH!!! finally put in a 125 PSI relief. I had to pull the carpet from the trunk.

Thanks -- what AN hose sizes are you guys using for oil cooler/accusump/remote filter?
How about for tranny cooler?
Working on circling my Sears catalog....

Mike

Mine are size 10 braided stainless. that is 5/8" I believe. Locally available from a speed shop in the area and oddly our PepBoys. They have a good selection of fittings also

Merci Beaucoup.....
I was guessing -10.... Does PepBoys have the fittings as well?
All my speedshops are on the other side of town and only M-F 10-6 type hours :-(
So I usually have to order and hope I've got it right.
thanks,
Mike

Here is a video that I was asked to help out with recently for House Automotive in Pasadena, CA.
The video stars me and all three of my cars.
And yes, that is a real PIWIS. And they have the newer version to work with all of the new cars.
I hope to be expanding my relationship with House Automotive soon...

Tom - that's very cool. It's neat to see how much you enjoy your cars and thanks for all the help and advise you give here on the board.
Thanks for all you do here and best of luck in the upcoming track season!

-10AN for Accusump/remote filter
-8AN for Tranny Cooler.
I use Aeroquip startlite hose rather than braided, as its easier to inspect, easier to work with and saves weight.

The 944 Turbo is currently in the shop getting a new engine installed. Expect to pick it up end of next week!

That's too funny -- just fired up my 951 after an extensive rebuild at the shop last weekend...
However I'll be selling it -- eyeing a Spec Box to go with my 986S track car.

So that's what......four engines this year between the spec Boxster and the 944 Turbo?
Your VISA card must be pretty battered by now.
Just sayin'.............

Hah! That is pretty funny! Let me know what we're going to fix next...
Sorry to hear that the 951 might go but you'll love a Spec Boxster!

Next project is ready to start! Time to replace the transmission due to what seems to be a bad 3rd gear synchro in the original unit. I'll start this weekend.
Big thanks to member Hughes46 (Mike) for the replacement transmission. I promise to .... uh, beat the hell out of it. In a good way.

I was thinking the same thing. No wonder you did the video, hopefully you are getting a discount!

Sorry for the delay. Here is the build list for my oil cooler and a picture of it. The fan is actually underneath the cooler and pulls air through a hole in the trunk and exhausts to the street. There is also obviously a cut out in the bottom of the trunk to allow for this.
