I noticed your Boxster is similar in modification to my own. My '04S is now a 3.8 bored out with Nickies, 987 airbox, IPD, and 74mm throttle body. My tuner did not work - hesitations after shifting and lean misfire codes. I am looking for a solution and would like to speak with you. Please PM me if you are open to sharing your experience. Thank, Kurt

    Hello there,

I saw an old post of your on your upgrades. Nhp headers, mufflers and the IPD plenum/74 throttle body, etc.. As of now I have the Evo intake, GHL muffler, (Softronic software ready to be installed). Im planning to get Nhp headers and 200 cells and maybe the IPD/74mm set up. My question to you was the 41 +/- he you gained on 2003 Boxster before or after the LN nickies? I heard there was some power lost with Techno Torque so I was sure about the IPD, but if you got 10hp I may have to get it. Whats your opinion? Btw, I have an 02 S model. Thanks for your time.

Hi you had responded to my post about the S center radiator installation and now I am planning on tackling it. I have the center radiator and the coolant hoses, I got them from someone parting out an S. What I am trying to figure out is at what point do the S and Base pipes become the same? do the coolant lines that run from the motor to the front, the hard lines, are they a different diameter too? are the differences in diameter only at the front?

Did you ever find a way to flat tow a boxster behind a motorhome?
