Sorry for your troubles. But, realize, it's not that they can't fix the issue, it's that they refuse to fix it. It would require a whole new set of tooling and casting, and that's too much for their profit picture to absorb.

But, I think the word is out and I expect Porsche to come out with a new engine design, the M97 engine in '09 under the guise of some improvement, all the while ignoring those saps who bought into the M96. Payback for Pottsdam...???
