Daily driver in Boston? Don't take this the wrong way but at 80K miles I would consider selling for a lower mileage Boxster. Cold engine starts and these engines get along worse and worse the closer you get to 100K miles. If your car is in good shape and can get a good asking price I would consider it. I drive my car year-round in the North East as well and after crossing the 70K mile mark the car has gone from the most reliable car I ever owned to one expensive repair after another. I've also been reading speculation by some reliable contributors familiar with these engines that winter temps are especially taxing on this generation of engine, there seems to be a common denominator there as far as harsh weather.
