Thank you for the link to your amazing restoration of your Spyder Anniversary Boxster! I am impressed and grateful for the encouragement it all gave me. If it is not asking too much, what was the rough cost of replacing all the electronics in the car's cabin?

I was wondering if you could answer a couple of questions. I am putting together a 2.7L to install in a 1999 Boxster. I am using the 2.5L throttle body and wiring harness in order to keep the standard transmission (donor 2.7 was a TIP) and to eliminate the need to install fly by wire for the 2.7. To that end, I am planning to eliminate the butterfly valve in the back intake runner (remove valve and plug holes). I came across an older posting of yours that shows the vac attachments (I tried to include here but was unable) and I am pretty sure that the indicated area just needs to be removed and "H" plugged into "G". Is that correct?
2nd question, I am planning on using the fuel rail from the 2.5 as I need the return type again done to eliminate a lot of extra work on the fuel system converting it to a returnless system. The mounting points do not line up with the mounting locations on the 2.7. How would you suggest attaching the rail? sorry this is long. Hope you can respond.

78F350, Hi. You said you have the right side (passenger) deflector for $60? I’m assuming the 986 didn’t change any dimensions from year-to-year. Mine is a ‘97. I live in Washington now (I guess I better update my profile.) I would like to buy. How to proceed? Thanks. Belgirb (Jim).

I'm not sure if you got that last message but please take the picture and get back with me. It sounds like it might be what I need.

Rob, I have been following your posts, but had nothing more to offer than what has already been said. The car that had the broken impeller is waiting for me to finish an engine swap. It can still be driven and does fine on the street if I keep the bleed valve open on the coolant tank. Best wishes on getting it back to good. I admire your tenacity.
