I have two smog shops I use. Now that they are only using the OBD II to smog check '96 and later cars it is a pretty easy in and out as long as all the flags are set. These folks are pretty unmotivated and don't do a full inspection. With our cars you would have to have it on a lift or get down pretty low to see the secondary cats.

With the The Top Speed cat delete pipes it defiantly makes it louder. But not substantially. To me it is more of a tone difference. However, I will bow my head in shame..... When I had a Harley it was loud. And, when I had my 993 Cab I had Super Cup exhaust on it.... very loud. I've changed... honest!
