This is a great write up and makes me really want to do the same set up. Just a couple of questions:
Where did you get the new DRL's?
From the video it doesn't seem that the white LED's turn off completely when the amber LEDs turn on. Could this be done so that when the turn signal is engaged that only the Amber lights flash, then when the turn signal is off they go back to only having the white light on? I have seen this on newer cars with DRLs and turn signals that are integrated.
Would you be able to post some pictures of how you mounted the DRLs?
