If that is the case, then the power-to-weight ratio of the two cars is fairly close and probably why the two are nearly even on the racetrack.
I stand corrected. 435 is the correct number.

The configurator on the Porsche site! I'm leaning towards Carrara White Mettalic...

It is $86K USD base price for a GT-4 in the configurator. GTS is $75.

Built a nice PTS GTS for $86K.

Based on the options available I wouldn't add a single cost ad option.

I would probably add the full buckets. The clubsport package looks interesting but I didn't see it in the configurator, just in the details pages.

Edit: looks like Clubsport package is gone from the site for now. I did see this interesting note on the engine page:

"The flat-six engine is equipped with direct fuel injection (DFI), VarioCam Plus and integrated dry-sump lubrication."

I wonder if that is the same "integrated dry sump lubrication" that we have on the 986 Boxsters.

^those seats should come standard in a GT4.
On resale GT4's with those $5k seats will be the most sought after. Money well spent.

A few mods can easily get you to 400 HP.
can't wait to see the Boxster GT4, basically a Boxster Spyder on steroids.
