What did you do with/to your Boxster today?

This morning I installed red leather console trim. The armrest and panels below the shifter are now in glorious contrast to the rest of the black interior.

Pics to come when I get home.

I took mine to a meeting today that I was running late for so I thought I could get there quicker.

Seems like someone had the same idea in his boxster that I did but he had a much different outcome. Deserion will know the street - Southside. I was driving to my meeting and saw what looked like a boxster pulled over. Beautiful blue with blue top. The Frunk was open but not like normal. I think this guy must have forgotten to put his Frunk in the all the way closed position. Looks like his Frunk broke and flew up to where it was laying all the way back on his windshield. I felt so bad for the guy...he was just getting out of his car and it did not look pretty.

I hope that wasnt the case...and if he is part of this forum and sees this...let us know!

Got it ready to go to Willow Springs raceway this weekend! Nothing more fun than a Boxster on a racetrack.

Drove it to work (25 miles)

Drove it to one of my other offices (14 miles along the coast on a secluded road I might add, on a beautiful sunny California day)

Drove it to lunch (16 miles)

Drove it back to the first office (12 miles)

Drove it to another office (1 mile)

Drove it home (25 miles)

No wonder I have over 232,000 miles on the Jägermobile!!

Walked right by it in the morning... Got on the harley and rode to work.

Got home... Felt a little quilty. Took her out for about a 30 mile back road drive. Top down.

Great day for both vehicles!

Had my daughter contort herself to remove the set screws on the ignition switch so I could replace it. Had her contort again to tighten the screws.

Took it out in the rain to have dinner with a buddy who hadn't seen it yet, took him for a spin. He's now talking getting one in a few years.

Drove down PCH, had a Vette rev up his motor to race..
Just ignored him and let him take off, I then just listen to my motor exhaust shifting through the gears.. Popped the top up and jumped on the 405 and opened it up a bit on the return trip..
Dropped the top upon off ramp exit and took the back way home..
Parked in the garage and tried the comb the knots out of my hair..

Tried to get LED turn signals and brake lights to work %^&*$. And said, "Stuff it!" I had just waxed her so I needed an excuse for a drive. Grabbed the list. Went the long way shopping, taking on some twisties. Yes, we have some of those roads in Texas - just not like CA or CO. Saw a sport bike and both of us took off! He passed me I passed him, there was mutual respect of speed. It ended with a salute and a pledge to get a Gixxer!

I decided to do the Crios Exhaust Mod. Found a punch at Lowes that was ¾" in diameter and costs $12. Pretty cheap and easy. I had the mod done in less than 5 minutes. It DOES seem to provide "more flow" at higher RPMs (wish I would have thought of it earlier in the day - could have given the Suzuki a better run).

Then, I packed up my wife and we went out for dinner. We enjoyed the long way to the restaurant but had to take the short way back. You KNOW what it is like driving aggressively on a full stomach.

So my day was cut short by eating….have to remember to do less of that!
