Picked up car after replacing hazed/cracked plastic window - nice to have 20/20 vision again! Top didn't change, just took one pic in the sun and one indoors.
Now... what's the best product to keep the plastic looking like new?

I've been busy...
I replaced an aftermarket stereo the previous owner had installed. Went from a single-DIN sized Sony that was terrible to use and sounded lousy, to this awesome Pioneer 4200NEX double-DIN Apple CarPlay system. Using the Porsche's OEM onboard amplifier with the stereo system's equalizer, it sounds like a whole new system. I may replace the speakers later on, but for now, they sound great.
I sacrificed the terrible OEM cupholders in the process of this installation, which never worked very well anyway, and ended up with a dash that I think looks right. The storage pocket below the stereo has a cord to connect my iPhone, so I can access all the CarPlay features easily.
If you look closely, on the left side you'll see I now have a garage door opener button below the PSM. (Yes, I realize the printing is slanted, but I couldn't find a button with the image printed properly on an angle.) It works great, and the button lights up when the dash lights are on. The controller is in the space behind these buttons, and it's easy to pop it out to change the battery when needed. I just installed a new battery a few weeks ago, so I should be good for several years.
As part of the new sound system's learning curve, I had to change the stereo's wallpaper, right?
Since the stereo could handle it, I also added a rear view camera. It's the tiny black box at the top of the license plate frame. Works great, and when I shift into Reverse, the camera comes on automatically. Rumor has it I can tell the stereo to turn on the camera while I'm driving, and record what it sees. This may come in handy on the road, if someone behind me gets out of line.

The more I do with and to this amazing car, the more I like it. Why did I wait so long before buying it?
Dave

Gave it a nice workout this evening, topless of course. I haven't had it out in about two weeks or so, it was needed.

Thanks! I'll post an update in a few months after I've had time to learn the workings of it all. It does a lot, and I'll be interested to see how much it increases my pleasure level while driving the Boxster. Not sure how much more pleasure this car could bring me. I already look like the Village Idiot, driving down the street with this huge smile on my face. LOL!

Replaced my drip trays. The passenger side was so badly torn, no wonder I had water leaks. I'm really shocked that Porsche thought this was a good method for keeping water out of the interior. Poorly engineered.

Finally got to drive my girlfriends car yesterday! Love the short shifter. A little embarrassed though as a I stalled it twice before I got used to it's oddly lighter clutch.
However, what a wonderful car and boy do they look good side by side.

Took a long drive my wife to Brattleboro, Vermont in sunny spring conditions. Car runs like a sewing machine. G*d I am happy when I'm driving it.

The Wife and I took a spin down to Watkins Glen. Here are a few shots in front of Hector Falls on the way back.

For the case of both me and the gf I think the previous owner had bought the lettering.
With my old boxster I bought a vinyl that said boxster in silver however the somewhat gold vinyl on my girlfriends car and the yellow on mine I'm not exactly sure.
I think I mayyyy have found it once on suncoast Porsche though.
