Wow looks great! Wasn't that nice of the previous owner to protect that red leather for you. Looks new.

Got my '03 Boxster base 2 weeks ago. Monday-Tuesday car was in shop getting LN IMS retrofit, RMS, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel, and of course, oil and filter. I think a clutch should last more than 41,000 miles, but it was down to the rivets in a few places.

Today, I did some easy stuff, air filter, cabin filter, drive belt.

What did you do with/to your Boxster today?

Got a new key cut and programmed by the dealer today. I supplied the key, and they only charged me $85, despite being quoted $160 over the phone. Sometimes even the dealer is reasonable...

Can you PM me the info on where you bought your key? I checked with the dealership yesterday, and they quoted me ~$525 US, depending on my VIN, which they say may affect the final price. I'd like to try and do better than that. Thanks.

Dave

I had a racing stripe and Porsche lettering added. The metallic silver matches great with my Lapis blue metallic paint, and is a dead-on match for the wheel color. I think it's a great touch.

PCA Zone 1 Concours

My very first Concours. Entered FUNTOY in the People's Choice category.

Unfortunately the Concours had to move to a parking garage because of rain.

Learned a lot, saw some fantastic cars and talked to a bunch of really interesting Porsche owners.

Did go home with a second place award!

Congrats, Anker! Good job. Yes, the rain didn't help us, but we still enjoyed ourselves at the Zone 1 Concours. Here are a few more pics of the event.

PCA NER AutoCross school today. Had a blast and learned a ton about Boxster handling. Its really non-intuitive that if you start losing the rear end you add throttle and if you start losing the front you reduce it. I'll have to practice that a lot before it becomes instinctive.
