Cleaned the radiator debris.

It runs cooler now, the needle was at the end of the 0 in 180 prior, now it's in the middle of the 8.

We took a road trip to Toronto to an all weekend concert festival. We started to pull into the wrong lot with some other cars. Security waived the other two cars away but motioned us forward. "Are you a guest of one of the bands?"

Of course we weren't, and it hadn't occurred to us until later that it must have been bcause of the card. Wouldnt have happened in the Subaru

Not really today, but got the pic today
Finished third on the day, but first in the Porsche class at PCA autocross...thought the photo was pretty good.

I went for a drive to the city and met a man with some books for sale.

Then 'unboxed' them onto their own shelf.

Day 3

Drove to County Park and went hiking. Great day with the top down and getting outdoors.

Busy couple of days:

* tightened emergency brake
* loosened seat rails to get change that fell between seats and center console
* sent back the new head unit because i found a better one on sale
* drove 2 hours to do wrestling ring announcing in the rain (outdoor show)
* realized I need to replace my battery tomorrow when the engine wouldn't turn over after the show

* stared appreciatively at the young blonde who pulled up next to me in a 987. ;-)

Cracked open a lot of good boxes:

160 degree thermostat
Underdrive pulley
Cat bypass pipes

While I was at it, cleaned the radiators and painted the front grill inserts.

Car looks better, sounds better, runs cooler, and pulls harder. Good couple of days.

^Is that because the radiators are now higher in the air? **poke**

No racing today... Put her in the Classics on the Green car show! Lots of positive comments, but Jo love for the judges. Oh well, great day. Ferrari was featured, and there were a lot of them, along with a lot of other great cars.

Very nice. What front bumper is that?

Did an oil change. Found a bunch of metal in my oil filter.

Crap.

I guess I can look at the bright side. I know what I'll be doing this winter.

The bumper is a fiberglass 04 GT3 replica for Boxsters and 99-02 Carreras. I put the RS vents in front of the hood.

A little spit and some elbow grease and the muffler and tailpipe look shinny and bright again! Makes a huge difference. Can't wait to look out my office window tomorrow and not stare at a dark, dirty muffler/tailpipe!
