I've been in Seattle for a year, I don't even know where the closest dealer is. In FortCollins, I used them to get parts only.

I worked at an Oldsmobile dealer in Denver for a little while as a service writer. As you describe, the entire goal of the service department was to move people into the showroom to buy a new car. Everyone who works at a dealership is a salesman.
