Without writing a whole essay, my QP has been as reliable, if not more so, than most high end cars. I have not owned a MB or BMW myself (for a very good reason), and what my in-laws, relatives and friends tell me about problems with those--->the Maserati is a god send compared. I have owned 3 Jags (2 XJR's and 1 S-Type, also extremely reliable), 1 Q45 (the best for the money) amongst luxury sedans.
Make sure you get a ppi before you purchase, and it will be the little quirky things that will surface (ie cd player working weird once every 10-15 times, etc). You only live once...this will be the most exotic sedan experience you will ever experience. Hope this helps.

Oh...budget $3-5k a year depending on whether you have a dealer do the maintenance and whether you put a lot of miles on it. The rear tires only last 10-15k miles depending on the compound/brand.

How reliable is your Quattroporte? I was thinking of getting one but want to know what I would need to budget in maintence and all.
