others may be more knowledgeable, but this was the same symptom I had & this was fixed by changing the electronic part & not the whole ignition. Change the switch & based on others' advice previously, this will likely fix your problem for a fraction of the cost & difficulty. Get prepared to dive upside down in driver cockpit well & wrap the handle of the small slot screwdriver with tape so you can get more leverage to "break" the red paint on the surface of the screw if you haven't had this part changed before.
