I have an '04 S with dual rolled tipped exhaust tips. The tips can be removed by loosening a bolt on the bottom that pinch fits them to the muffler. It's just not limited to those, the 550 and Sport is the same way.

BTW, they're stainless steel and polish up like chrome!!
