It wouldn't be my choice, but ddb's Box with hardtop is strikingly beautiful.

I fell for white back in the 70s and early 80s when Porsche introduced that brilliant "refrigerator" white. It looked great on 935s with Martini colors!

Was going to paint my silver 911S that color with flares, duckbutt, and glass bumpers. But my ex planted the car in the iceplant patch at the CA Hwy 78 exit off I5 near Carlsbad. And the guy who salvaged it painted it black.

I can't understand why anyone would forego the pleasure of REAL colour on a canvas as large & intense as a car, especially beautifully formed ones like our Boxsters. White, black, grey or silver all seem like wasted aesthetic opportunity to me.

Love white! I fully intend on getting white for my next car. I guess i'm a perfect example of the trend, ready to go from silver to white. I really find the silver to be pretty boring.

I especially like white on sports cars that have accents (air intakes etc..), creates great contrast. For example the new M3 looks sweet in white.

I'm just waiting for the tree huggers to blame this on global warming.

I can dig white. I think cars that look like Stormtroopers are cool.

Bad news for paint shops... white is the hardest color to match/blend.

What can I say? Every vehicle we have is white except for the HOP ROD. Besides, White was the original official racing color for Germany 'till the mid 30's. We like it's understated elegance.
