I would check and see if your early suspension is set up to take 18" wheels. 10mm is pretty good width but 25mm seems a bit much. I would float the question on the overall forum as there are more informed on these things than I am but I am pretty sure the suspension was beefed up in order to handle the 18" wheels. Keep me posted.
Thanks for your response. I just purchased a set of Porsche rims fronts are 18x8 et 50 rears 18x10 et 65. I have a 99 Boxster base so I am planning on getting 25mm spacers for the rear and maybe 10mm for the front. figuring on 235x40x18 tires for the front and 275x35x18 for the rear. Based on what I have found on the web this should work. Do you have any thoughts?
Saw your name on another post regarding wheel spacers. I was looking at ECS because they sell kits with spacers and bolts. Do you have any insight regarding reasonably priced wheel spacers for boxsters?
Sorry for the late response. I am down in the Hudson Valley Region of PCA. Hudson Champlain covers the area you live in. I would look into it. If they don't have any events for you get back to me and I will see that you are notified about ours.
