I saw on the news about all the flooding going on over there. I hope you and your family are doing okay?

Hey Woody, we're good here! Thank you.
Yup, they really had bad flooding in the western region of Germany.
Luckily, I live up North next to the Elbe river, and floodings were pretty common here. 10 years ago, authotities pushed hard to get our dikes and wetlands future proof, so it will need a tsunami to break them. But you never know.

Slowly getting to the point, where I can start looking for cocoa leather and cover the buttom part. Jeeez another trade I have to look into...saddler
Recommendations are welcome, e.g. leather or leather with little padding, etc...it will be different from vinyl wrapping...for sure

Thank you. I actually liked my chromed side vents the best, but it was hard to find a guy being able or let's say willing to chrome the side vents...and they lasted only 2-3 years until heat and humidity destroyed the chrome under the coating.

The silver on the other hand was professionally done by a paintshop...OEM quality, will last years, so I am happy with them. Btw...I survived my stroke almost 4 years ago, too

Not sure, IF someone could powder coat plastic parts with shiny chrome...that would be awesome.

magnetic holder = done (neodym magnets installed in subwoofer controller and in the lid: That thing needs force to be removed)
apple magsafe holder = WIP

let's see, if I can safely fit a usb cooling device in there

Today my brandnew Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires were installed, including these TMPS valves from TireMoni: The TPVMS TD-1800I (internal) monitors

*PRESSURE
*TEMPERATURE
*TIRE VIBRATION
*valve battery status
*car battery status (when cable powered via cigarette lighter). Of course it can be run with 2xAA batteries only
*Smartphone app available as well (the necesary sensor is available again early 2022)

Not affiliated, but just impressed. It works like a charm. 30mins of driving on a colder autumn day upped the tire pressure by 0,2-0,3 bar, and the temperature by 15°-18°C.

TÜV inspection:

1.) rattling inside the left tire
2.) something something suspension rubber cracked
3.) car paper requires an update
4.) engine sweating
5.) etc...
6.) etc...
7.) all my handmade mods
8.) new tire wheel combo
9.) front splitter (left exhaust spot rough/unfinished)

Will it pass or do I have to say good bye?
("dramatic music playing")
...to be continued

I grabbed my favourite classic PSA, as long as they are still available!
The restrictive german laws are getting tougher every year, so these don't even come with a switch anymore.
The flaps are completly automated and only open at a fixed speed above city limits.
Needed extra harness etc...installed by Porsche...$$$...but TÜV approved.

IMO the PSA's look'n'sound is 10/10 and my modded Boxster passed TÜV inspection (praise the Lord)

Your car, including the exhaust, looks phenomenal Bran. Well done.
