Yeah..... so..... it looks like he ordered (or tarret sent) the wrong bars, too.

I went and dug the wrappers out of the garbage (see image)

The 987 rear bar is much larger than the 986 counterpart.

The front bar is the same diameter, but I don't know in what ways they might be different. They're clearly a different part number.
