For all international customers reading this monster thread, I am from Australia and ordered a heap of things off Che:

Headers, cat back, adj. rear track arms and a short throw shifter.

He gave me a great price on the parts and a top shipping price (considering the size of the box)!

It arrived in a week, was packaged perfectly and all parts look fantastic. Really looking forward to installing them.

Get on board Aussies!

Che,
Well I received the new style headers & I am disappointed in the new style flanges. The flange transition to primary tubes is the worst I have ever seen, (I used to sell headers at a warehouse distributer speed shop) also the collecter to secondary cat pipe 3-bolt flanges are thinner & have elongated universal style bolt slots not oem style holes. Oh well I need the dual O2 sensor bungs per header for my 2000 Boxster so I guess I will have to give up some exhaust flow due to poor tube fitment to get the O2s on the header. I shipped them off right away to get them ceramic coated inside & out for $170. This will retain more heat inside the headers to bring O2 sensors up to temperature quicker & limit radiant heat to engine compartment. Headers came back from ceramic coating & I finally have time to install them, sold my 97-99 style TopSpeed headers for $100. New headers are harder to bolt to engine due to tube routing but I get it done then realize the O2 BUNGS ARE ON THE BOTTOM of the collector facing down & there is no way the wires are long enough to reach the connecters. The bungs must be on the top of the tube facing up for the wires to reach not to mention to prevent a loss of ground clearance. As I start unbolting them to put my stock maniflods back on I notice the PASS. SIDE DENT for engine clearance is in the wrong spot & has no effect other than to block exhaust flow. Great I have $400. "invested" in useless ceramic coated pipes & I just sold the last set I bought from you.

Che - just to back this up, the 'dent' on my left side bank was also in the wrong place, I had to install that side multiple times to wack again with a hammer and test fit before getting it all to clear the motor. The end result is ok, just has more of a dent than required and was a major PITA.

Something has gone off in the manufactoring area if these dents were lining up before.

Che I am putting the headers on for a race this weekend & I have spent $400. on the headers with a ceramic coating. The pictures on your website look like the O2 bungs are in the same place as my headers so I doubt you will give me back $400. so I am going to try & extend the wires for my O2 sensors.

Just a question. Why are you guys buying headers that need a dent in them to fit? Have there been dyno results on these headers? Im not trying to be a p.i.a. I was just curiouse.

JAAY - read the entire thread (when you have a spare couple of days!!) and you will see that they have been dyno tested with good results.

I think I have found a way to get better results from them though. First of all, they should be ceramic coated, this keeps the heat inside, keeps the o2 sensors happy and produces more power due to the exhaust temp staying inside the pipe. Secondly, the mid pipes need to be modified or changed completely to have a 2" opening as this is the size that these headers are at the flange. The stock 2.5l mid pipes are 1.75" here and it creates a huge amount of turbulence and therefore restriction at this point.

The dent, will cause minimal if any restriction or power loss, its nothing much and normally just pushes the pipe into an oval shape anyway so you dont lose any flowing area.

Good question JAAY, my excuse is back in 2005 the Topspeed F1 was the 1st header I had seen for a resonable cost, $250, so I bought them & discovered the pass. side needed to be dented for engine clearance. It was either this or pay $1,000+ for a set of headers. Now in Oct. 2010 I see the new 2000-2004 Boxster 3.2 header with 4 O2 sensor bungs for sale by the same seller for $205, so assuming these will be of simular quality to the 1st set I buy the new version. As for dyno results I am sure I am gaining power over the OEM 2000 exhaust & I am sure the $750+ I saved cost me 5-10hp.

Just doubled checked our sales records from Dec 2010 to current date sold 28 sets, No reply back from Customers address issues.

Just need your help to double check the Header you had received, on the Package Box should have a white paper showing production/shipping date.

Headers we had in-stock are made in 2 different production dates. in year 3/10 2008 & 4/22 2009 Please let me know which production date Header you had received.

Regardless, will do my best to have problem resolve.

Thank you !

Che

Che thank you for responding quickly here to address my complaint as you have for other customers throughout this forum. I don't want to ship these headers back & find out that this is how they all are & you offer a refund for what I paid for them but not the ceramic coating I paid for as most businesses would. The pics on your website seem to have the same O2 bung position as what I have here. I will take pictures & send to you since I can't upload pics on this forum.

That's the kind of response that I really appreciate from a supplier.

Sam,

Thank you for chimed in, these headers we had in-stock are made in 2 different production dates. in year 2008 & 2009 do you still have the box ??? Outside the Box should have a Label showing the date. If you don't have the Box will you be able to email the pictures to deluboz@aol.com this way I can take a look and compare.
