I've seen ~400HP M96 Boxsters with ECU remaps.
What I couldn't see is the $30k of other parts inside the engine necessary to hold the thing together. Darn near every internal part of that engine was non original.

And you've seen them running on a dyno or at least the sheets?

After spending hours and hours searching, I finally found a remapped Boxster along with a dyno graph. I hope that we can get a group buy. (And I'm going to try to get the clear windshield option)...

There is one way to dramatically improve your 0-60 times, change from mph to kph.
Think it's the button you adjust the clock with so you dont even need a Durametric.
0-60kph should be around 3 or 4 seconds.

I myself own a 2001 Boxster, it has been my test car. Everything on my car is bone stock, with the exception of a re mapped ECU. What is a re mapped ECU you may ask? Well I simply access the data on the ECU via a computer, change the values of the air/fuel/spark ratio and I can achieve great things (cant tell you all my secrets
With the ECU remapped on my Boxster I can acheive 0-60 times in 3-3.5 seconds, thats a lot better then the 6 second stock time.
I am just trying to pass on my amazing discoveries to you! My fellow Porsche fanatics, if I get enough interest in this we can set up a group deal and get you guys running 3 second 0-60s in no time.
Thank you my friends! And happy Motoring

I want to see a moped do that three second 0-60.
Do you think I can get this ECU remap to work on my 2 barrel carb equipped Jeep CJ?

Boxster owners should band together and get the ECU Doctor on a contract, a contract that he modifies only Boxster ECU’s and no other model Porsches… That would really get those 996/997 guys spun-up.

I just remapped my own ECU using my iPhone. It was easy to do and now my Boxster does zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds. I'm going hunting for 918s.

I couldn't afford "The ECU doctor" so I hired The ECU nurse practitioner instead. Only got me down to 3.2 in the 0-60 but happily she increased my fuel economy to 56 mpg and beautiful women now find me irresistible!
