I'm going to order this Clutch mod as well. found them on the McMaster site and have them in my cart.

How hard was this to install?

Sweet Meir! Excited to hear what you think.

And Dlirium, sorry I missed your post. It was easy enough - just a tight spot. It's only held in with spring pressure, so it's just wiggling it around. Once you get your head in there it will be clear and easy. A vice made it very easy to get the old spring out, new one went in with hand pressure. I put some loctite on both ends of the spring because it looked like there was something similar in there before. Don't know if I should have or not, but no issues.

My pro-tip: masking tape over the trunk latches on the door sill. I may or may not know for a fact that you can hook a belt loop on one of the handles and find yourself quite stuck with your arms up in the dash and your butt locked in place. Just so glad I got out before my wife wandered by and took a picture.

Still love it, by the way. My dad (PO) drove it a couple days ago - between the exhaust, 997 shifter, and this clutch spring I think he was missing this ol' base Boxster.

Edit to add: Meir, sorry it took so long - they said it would just be a few days. TRK, did you get yours yet? I imagine not if Meir just got his.
