fyi, your insurance should cover you for a standard hpde. as soon as you start competing (time trial) your insurance no longer covers you. keep that in mind.

Thanks. I never quite understood why a person's insurance would cover ANYTHING at the racetrack.... but I guess some have used it?

I would read my insurance policy closely -- I don't think this is typical anymore.
