Just trying to figure out if my usual shop can do the work or do I need to find a indy Porsche shop.
The 18" Sport Classic wheels by BBS were an option on the 986 and 996. I had a set on my 996. They are really nice looking but a complete PITA to clean (lots of little nooks and crevices).

You never take them apart unless there is a problem. There is no maintenance. New tire installation, mounting, and balancing is done normally just like any single piece wheel.
