Hi Paul just seen that you have a 3.6 conversion on your 98, that is pretty sweet is there a thread on that conversion or did you get it that way? Thanks Dave

Paul, thanks for your response on my coolant tank. Looks like you've DIY & I had a question: From your 2nd pic it appeared you somehow got to release those hoses from the top of the engine bay? Is that correct?, everyone seems to say you have to come in from underneath.

Would you be able to summarize how you did it?

It seems that the issue is really that 4th 'hard-plastic line' hidden behind the 3 rubber hoses & oil-fill tube that causes the problem. Because if not for that, it sure would be faster to remove the 3 circle clips from the trunck side and leave that manifold in place. Then cut the oil-fill tube and repair or replace the tank. And cut the new oil-fill line to match up with a short hose and clamps (since nothing goes down that line except the occasional oil-fill), and re-attach new clips to the 3 rubber hoses. Pretty simple and not too inelegant. So what to do with that hard-plastic hidden 4th line is the issue.

Doing fine, any road trips in your future. We are planning to go to the Salt Lake Parade (July), the Watkins Glen Vintage Festival (Sept), and the F1 race in Austin (Nov).
