Most of the failures that I have read or heard about with the off brand tanks were early on after installation; blocked tubes, misaligned welds, or quickly developing leaks. Nothing that would take a year or two to find out about.

The problem with Fram is that the "Orange Wall of Death" is a catchy phrase. People like to repeat it. I wonder if it was first coined by a marketer from a competitor?
