I have been researching lifts for a few months. I decided to go with this:

https://www.twinbusch.com/product_info.php?products_id=8

Unfortunately I have to wait a couple months, they are in high demand and out of stock. I am number 53 on the waiting list.

If you have the room, I just got the their two-post and it was cheaper than that.

I bought the 5000slx online at Home Depot $1100. Works great- using right now to replace my cv joints/boots.

You can get the QuickJack with the thick blocks under a Boxster. I'd say you lose about an inch between the block and the jack points. Plenty of room to get underneath with a creeper. I do it all of the time.

And I'm 71, so I am not nearly as nimble as I used to be! :-)

I love my quick jacks, i use it for several cars, not just my boxster. Check costco for deals on this item, they go on sale sometimes. Plenty of room to get under the car with a creeper. 22 inches is the highest based on the literature.
