That one made me pull out the manuals and do some reading. I'm still not sure... Are you referring to the chain ramps?

I'm just about out of budget for my October projects, so I'm probably not going to take that on. I do plan to tear-down the bad engine for a possible rebuild in the following months though.

Low temp thermostat and replace oil cooler with S version, both to improve engine cooling.

Oil filler tube, the bottom section where it attaches onto the top of the engine.

Spark plug tube O-rings.

Voltage regulator (mounted on back side of alternator)

Which ISMB fix are you going to do?

Easy to do with engine out of the car & probably the most difficult task to do with engine in car. Should be done at 60K miles on all 5 chain engines. Indy mechanics charge about $2,000 to install this $50 dollars worth of parts with engine in the car.

Hello BY,
Do you know when (mileage) they recommended to replace the vario-cam wear pads on a ('07) 3 chain motor?
Regards

Your engine does not have these.
