On the front right caliper the outer bleed valve was badly rusted and sheared off when I tried to loosen it. I am desperate to have that fixed before the DE. If anyone has a right front caliper for a 2004 S, please let me know.
I've had this. The solution is to take the caliper off, put a washer over the bleed valve to protect the caliper then put a nut over and fill the centre with weld, welding the nut to the stump of the broken nipper. The heat and the ability to unscrew it now will work. If the thread isn't damaged just replace with a new bleed nipple. If it is, here in the UK on Ebay you can get a thread tap and larger bleed valve in a kit.
It's what I've done although had to take it to a garage workshop to do as I don't have a welder.
