Changed the oil for the second time after rebuilding the engine following the dreaded IMSB failure. 1 small chip (could see it in bright light but not easily feel it between fingers) and wear particles/dust on the magnets strapped to the filter housing. A couple more similar small chips in the filter, a little plastic and 1 tiny piece of sealant (shown by the dime). Looks like I'm past the engine imploding due to trash left over from the first failure

Road trip

Road trip to Deals Gap NC, drove the Tail. Motorcycle guys are crazy fast on this road, Boxster was great on the curves.

Continuing an unplanned "work on the Boxster" weekend repainted the wiper arms flat black and installed new wiper blades using the "towel method". I've included a picture here for folks who don't know what this is.

The folded towel is there to protect against the end of the spring loaded wiper arm breaking the windshield if it accidentally snaps closed and hits the glass. Apparently more than one forum member has lost a windshield that way which is how I learned it.

I did this a month ago. It is a fun road to see how well the Boxster handles and it really did handle it well
