Last drive for the year to get the engine warmed up and top up the fuel tank. Changed the oil, no shinny bits in the filter, Tucked her away for the 5 month sleep, all ready in withdrawal

Spent money
Purchased necessary parts to convert my 99 986 to a 987 air intake. This seems like an ambitious project wont even attempt it till next year some time.

Tucked mine away yesterday. as well. That could be a picture of my car but I don't suspend mine from the ceiling.

Bought a used Atlas Scissor lift. Took an hour and half to muscle it up onto a tilt bed trailer with the use of a come along. The wheels did roll so well. Slid it onto the floor of the garage with about 15 minutes of effort - after taking apart the steel wheels. Cleaned and greased the shafts that held the wheels. It rolled right off and into place.

Changed out the radio with a new double din HU. Went with an Parrot Asteroid Smart, I really liked all the features of it and didn't need a CD player. GPS works great, installed a USB/AUX in the dash and with the six channel upgraded amp and rear speaker package it sounds great.

Avoided these guys,
Had a close call in June when I learned they could fly, almost got dinner and a new windshield.
I've hit birds before on my bike but don't want to have that encounter with one of these, it could end very badly.

Between them and the winter I second guess my reasons for living in the province that I was born into.

Wild turkeys. They where reintroduced a few decades back. I've seen flocks a few dozen large around here. They weigh up to around 20lbs give or take. Enough to ruin your day if you have the misfortune of hitting one at speed.

Had all of the fluids changed out, oil, brakes, coolant and gear oil. I usually do my own oil and brake fluid changes but I didn't feel like messing with the coolant and gear oil, so.....I figured I would just get it all done at once. $720 out the door, not bad IMO.

Had new rotors and pads put in all round, and had the rear trailing arms replaced so no more sounding like I'm transporting lumber in the trunk over every bump. Took a shot of my local inde's garage while I was there...
What it lacks in tidiness it makes up for in character and classic cars!

What did you do with/to your Boxster today?
Did a test patch on and under the r/h taillight for an impending paint correction - single stage didn't give the results I'm after so I'll need to up the ante to a three stage correction.
And this pic just because I like it. I intend on putting in some Narva Phantom turn signal gloves in which I think will freshen things up a little.

I got pissed off at it today. After an entire days worth of maintenance, it still runs like crap. See OUCH!!! thread in General Discussions.
