These are awesome driving cars, but I don't see how anybody can call them reliable. The only reason the list above didn't ruin a great road trip is that the owner knows his way around a set of wrenches.

If you want reliable, buy Japanese.

aside from the water pump (and even that, really) does not leave you stranded on the side of the road. nothing on the list is something that other vehicles would not encounter, possibly 2000 miles from home or pulling out of the garage.
