Jim, you need to change your challenge. This has already been done by Spinnaker on post #228. Please be sure to check through the other challenges (lengthy as it has become), before posting up yours.
Perhaps I'll make an edit to the first post of this thread and compile all the challenges met so far for a quicker reference.

Ok, sorry to be a pain (but you're not quite going by the rules posted )
please go back to your previous post and edit out the challenge portion so that people are not confused as to which is the current challenge. Thanks, Jim! And I hope you've got your own pic ready just in case.

Holy crap, you caught a 1999 Boxster in the background of your picture! Nice!
Ok, so who's gonna be that guy to snap a picture of himself going golfing this weekend? Come on, I know you're out there...

Boxster and a golf course green
I don't play golf, but I was driving by the Bellevue Golf Course on my way to an social get together, so I stopped and grabbed a quick shot. You can't see the green all that well from the parking lot, but the sand trap is clearly visible.
Since Thanksgiving is coming up,
Next - Boxster with a turkey (If it is still in the wrapper and frozen, that's OK, but you better start thawing it out soon.)

I'll give it a test.
Yep, I get an "upload of file failed" message when I tried.
Well Overdrive, does this make it the official end of the picture challenge?

I guess we can conclude here, and I won't knock a point off of the last score due to technical difficulties. But keep trying if you actually did get a picture with your turkey and load it up! I wanna see this. Put it up on imageshack if you have to, lol.
Since the winter is coming and at least some of us will be putting our cars away, in some cases well out of reach, I think we'll go ahead and conclude the thread as of Thanksgiving. I'll scour through all 16 pages of this (good LORDY, never expected that many) and make sure I've got the points tabulated correctly.
Do be on the lookout for a revival of the picture thread soon, in 2.0 flavor. I think we'll get started back up again with it some time after New Years so we don't have any holiday interferences...and so you guys can start coming up with some bigger, badder, and better challenges for each other. Expect some tweaks and lessons learned from the experience here, which overall was better than I expected and fun to see the level of participation it gained.
I realize those of us in the more inclimate part of the country may be at a bit of a disadvantage come January, depending on the challenge. But remember, so long as it's your Boxster meeting the challenge, there are ways of getting the points if the challenge allows for loopholes, as we've seen.
As stated before, if you have any suggestions, recommendations, criticisms, constructive or otherwise, etc., please PM me. No idea will go unconsidered.
I will post on here again to announce the overall points leader before having the thread closed.
Thank you all for your participation and for being good sports.

Ok, I have one last challenge for the the folks who have been following and making this thread what it is while you wait on me to supply the results. It's not for any points or accolades and will not be factored into my results...this is basically just your time to show off a little bit if you haven't already. Here it is:
Post one (and only ONE) picture of YOUR Boxster, the one which you feel is the best shot of your car. It doesn't matter if it's an on-track shot, staged picture, your car against an awesome backdrop of a city at night or open landscape, whatever image you feel is your car's best (no foolin' around, Johnny Danger ). If you feel it is one you took to supply for this game thread, you may repost it. If you don't have one already, go create it and post it up. In your post, put the title "Final Challenge", and if there is any sort of brief explanation that can or should accompany the image, feel free to supply that.
Gimme your best shot.

Final challenge.
The picture itself isn't my favourite, but it was fun getting the old shed on the cover of a magazine.

A picture from the happy day then I bought my Boxster and parked it the very first time to our yard (hated the aftermarket wheels, but otherwise feeling was incredible happy).

This photo was taken a few days after the completion of a long and tedious body kit project .
