Once a year for me
If it reaches 5 K miles or not I change the oil about this time every year...usually I only get around 4 K miles per year on my Boxster. I am due (by my own schedule )right now.....but working 65+...

One side is about an inch or so longer than the other side, it just fits over my head (yes I washed it first) and goes just over my nose ...strange

Well the reason for the water is I forgot I left a new 1 gal of distilled water in the frunk...bad news during some spirited driving I turned it over and it leaked out. I removed everything and shop...

I had one go out and I drove myself crazy trying to decide which one....best answer is replace both sides at one time. Also use a good quality bearing Like FAG or Timken...avoid cheap chinese...
