Pdwight Registered User Join Date: May 2013 Location: North Alabama Posts: 2,079	While we are talking about oil filters....a question This is the part from our great hosts for a spin on filter that requires an adapter 2001 Porsche Boxster S Convertible - Filters & Belts - Page 2 I do not understand, the oil filter is $225 and the adapter is separate ?? I though the spin on adapter allowed you to use a conventional can type oil filter that can be usually had for $20 or less ????
