Uh, doesn't the alarm have to stop sounding once the battery's disconnected? Then when you reconnect it, you can turn the alarm off.

That's odd. I've used my square 16 qt. FloTool container twice now, once for my diesel truck and once for my Boxster. I didn't have any oil splashing out around the sides! They sent me replacement...

How much do you drive it? Do you keep it on a trickle charger when it sits? These cars can easily go through a battery in 1.5 years if not kept charged up. I'd do as Tim said and first get it load...

Yup, that's the one I have. With 15 qts. of oil in it (from my diesel truck, not the Boxster), you don't want to stand it up when the vent cap won't stay closed, unless you don't plan to move it at...

Well, I've used it twice and I can report my findings: the hole in the middle for the oil to go in is big enough, and with a vent cap that won't stay closed, you won't be storing it on end, at least...

FWIW, I just spoke with FloTool, and they are aware of the leakage issues, and are going to send me several replacement vent caps. I hope they work better than the original one :rolleyes:!

Kind of hard to tell how loud it is on a video, but it definitely says "Everyone look at me, I'm bad ass!" Not to my taste for sure.
