Well that's good to know..my other issue is Iam taking parts from a 3.2 that has a hole in the top of the case..I have a new case ( Thank's 78F350 Great case ) But I dont know what shape the crank ,rod's or heads are in..I do have a 2000' M.Y. bottom end from a 911 , I think I could use the crank and rod's from that engine if I need to correct ? Thank's again ! Frank

If the bottom end from the 911 is a 3.6, I believe that you would be happy with the torque :-)

You may add two more "add on:s".. It seem to be consensus that using the 996 intake does quite a lot, at least according to some who have tried it here on the forum. Also if you go for the 987 Airbox, you can also use the 987 MAF-tube. This WILL need a tune, or at least an updated MAF-table.

If the 996-intake is a direct fit? You need to drill some new holes in the head and lower the engine to make it fit.

It's pretty simple to drill and tap the holes to mount a 3.4L intake.
The port on the head is a pretty good match for the intake already.

Frank, the 3.6 crank will have a longer stroke than the 3.2

Hello...I have located a 996 intake system,..But the ports are more oval,my 2.7 is a bit more triangular, I have'nt pulled my 3.2 Ltr yet, so I don't know what those intake ports look like,..trying to figure my best option for building a stronger, reliable engine..? Thank's Frank
