Hi, I’m a new user. Looking at a 1998 Boxster for sale. The red light on the temperature gauge upper right corner was on when I turned on the key and stayed on while started. It was not blinking, anyone have a clue for me?

    Hello Maytag

I recently saw a post of your

"FWIW: For me, if it were a '99 or older, I'd be all over it, as I suspect many others might be as well. But an '01 roller has zero value to me. Even at $2k, it's about $1900+shipping too much for me."

Can you please help me undersatds why 99 and earlier models are more desireable?

Im looking to buy a 98-99 and was interested in learning more please?

    Thanks

    MIke

Do you still have the 3.2 engine for sale? If so, can you tell me the history and what you know about it?

I'll check on that (part number 2) in the diagram. Is that a hard line or a rubber tube?

Okay, I'm actually going to ask how you know a bad enough AOS can cause an exhaust system to fill with oil. That sounds crazy!
