Not much history prior to buying it 18 months ago. I pulled it from an '04 S with 85k miles, and put it in my '03 S.
On arrival, I hooked up the durametric to it and checked cam deviation, did a compression test on all cylinders, and split open the oil filter looking for particles: all of this checked-out very good.
I put about 1500 miles on the oil I'd put in it, and then sent a sample to Blackstone. They gave it a thumbs-up.
Since then I've put about 5000 miles on it; mainly track and to/from the track. It has performed flawlessly, no hiccups, noises, smells, smoke, steam, stink or any other thing that would concern any of the senses, haha.
Note: I installed an underdrive-pulley on it; this requires filing-off the tip of the TDC-Tool-bung on the front of the motor. (see here for more information)

Do you still have the 3.2 engine for sale? If so, can you tell me the history and what you know about it?
