Hi JFP, there is a guy on Rennlist with a 996 TT having alignment problems in western PA. Can I recommend your shop? If you are not in West PA can you recommend a alignment shop in west PA, he said the 2 Porsche dealers near him are to be avoided. Thanks & have a great Memorial day weekend. P.S. In case you are a betting man my Cardinals are going to kick some Phillie butt starting tonite!

sorry, please forgive the multiple pms. i guess i'm a little backwards trying to figure out the pm/conversation thing b/w here and on my "smart" phone. thanks for the input on the waterpump. is there a brand in particular, oem, etc, that i should order as a replacement? did i go overboard on the ppi points? are those reasonable items to have checked? feel free to email me if it's easier and thanks again for your time.

A PPI is the full inspection of all vehicle systems for wear and maintenance; it is a detailed inspection of the car that should generate a report telling you the condition of the car as well as how it has been maintained to date.

If the pump is the original unit, yes, have it and the coolant replaced, the pump is common issue. If it is an OEM replacement unit, I'd first try to find out its age.................

What procedures would you recommend for a ppi? The car already has had the ims ems updates less than 5ka miles ago.

I am looking at buying a used 2002 box s. Have heard stories about waterpymp failures. I am having a ppi done and am wondering if I should worry with having the pump replaced. The car has 44k miles on it. Any advice? Thanks. Brad.
