Yeah, in full disclosure; I wasn't shifting. Haha. You may have noticed. I put it in third and left it there. I did (in later laps) use 2nd to drive out harder so he (and others) weren't leaving me in the straights. But for most of the day I left it in 3rd and focused on smooth braking, rotation, throttle, etc.
