You need to have the car scanned with a Porsche specific scan tool (most others cannot even see the Tip system) and see if the water has shorted out the Tips control module as well. I would also closely look at the harness connector at the multifunction switch; very little corrosion on those pins leads to all sorts of problems with that connector.

You may also now have a shifter cable adjustment problem because of the new multifunction switch, which requires disconnecting the shift cable at the in-car shifter, putting the transmission in park manually, putting the shifter into park, then reinstalling the cable at the shifter.
