Guys, the "wet" motor mounts (sometimes called "hydraulic") are that way to eliminate a large amount of engine vibration from reaching the passengers. They use the viscous fluid same as an oil filled shock does. They've been very, very common on higher-end, luxury vehicles for many years. And recently they've made their way to many other vehicles too.

I used uro rs engine mounts for my trans mounting and thry are great
