It isn't as most people destroy the AOS trying to take it apart. Sometimes, the view just ain't worth the climb.

I cut open a failed AOS once to see what was inside. With the 986 AOS, I don't see a good way to open it and replace the diaphragm, then seal it back together. For all the labor involved, I'd rather buy a Porsche® replacement.
