I tend to stick to factory as much as possible, but look for deals while remaining with factory specs. Many Boxsters have exceeded 6 figure mileage and still running strong without significant mods; do others with significant mods last that long w/out having to rebuild or have major engine issues?

The WIX/NAPA Gold can actually out flow the OEM cartridge, yet has a 30%+ finer media pore diameter, and is capable of flowing way in excess of what the oil pump puts out.
