Hi Kram,

I recently purchased an 01 Boxster S Tip with 50k miles. It seems that you have great experience with my model. I'm considering the 996 TB and 997 plenum upgrade. Headers and secondary cats are original with an FVD Brombacher Sound Version muffler.

I don't want to start spending money on lots of upgrades. I'm hoping you could shed some light with an opinion on whether a TB and plenum upgrade without all the additional upgrades such as exhaust, and tune would be worth while?

You mentioned to vball23 that his misfires could be due to injectors?
I have a 2002 S that is showing codes P0300-P0303 and a P01340. It idles rough and sputters, etc
one revs up seems to run fine. with engine cover off hearing it in the cab, i heard a little chain noise (seems anyway) at 2500RPM or so.
Do you have an idea?

You had posted a link to an engine temperature sensor in regards to a post about a malfunctioning secondary air pump, with a note about the sensor being #17 in the diagram. That link is not working, and I need that information. Could you repost it or send me the link? Thanks.
