They told me the pump itself is working perfectly (maybe its not running when it should) so at least that's "good news". And at least one of the 3 valves was changed out previously......so what remains is wiring, hoses and the other two valves.......

Don't forget the vacuum tank and connecting hoses in the SAI. I just spent $600 to have all three valves and the tank changed to get rid of a SAI CEL so my car would pass smog. The tank is plastic and can crack over time and create a vacuum leak in the system.
