I've just spoken with Chris Austin (the sales manager) at Fred Baker. I've also
called about 4 other dealers with 05's but all of them were too expensive (cars
that had too much equipment).

The car at Fred Baker sounds just about perfect for me. The 05 that he has
would invoice for a little over $39,000. The 06 invoices at $39,222. So these
2 cars are very comparable as far as price goes. The 05 has $1000 worth of
options that the 06 does not have. But I'm also taking a bigger depreciation on
the 05. I'm torn.

However, my descision may be made for me because the manager at Fred Baker
said that his car may be already sold. Someone put a deposit on it last night but
it didnt sound like a solid sale. He will call me this afternoon and let me know. If its not sold, and I can get it for close to 39,999...I might have to jump on that deal.
I need to run some resale numbers (what each car may be worth in 3 years).

Wish me luck!!!
